Make yourself known. Go to classes, meetings and events early and stay late. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to an event and wonderful opportunities came out of it, just by following that simple advice. You’d be surprised who will invite you to dinner or tell you things worth hearing. It’s before and after the main event that people really have time to talk.
