Thoughts to Make You Think

Get vitalized by random acts of smartness

You have two tools: your mind and your body. You need to take good care of them to make sure they are in good working order. When you say things like, “I am too busy to eat,” or “I don’t have time to sleep,” you are misusing your tools. If your tools aren’t in good working order, you will be unable to perform at your peak. This is best summed up by Stephen Covey, the author of The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People: “Have you ever been too busy to stop and buy gas?” Take time for yourself, fill up the tank with food or sleep, and make sure your tools are in their best working order so you can make the most out of your time.

“It was the kind of experience which stays with you for a lifetime. I am still riding on the energy you have instilled in me since then.”
